Is #3 the charm?
I have an interview this thursday in Appleton at a finance/accounting temp firm. It's a damn good position and would be great if I could get in. I'm pretty excited about it because if I'm hired, I will be employed by next week! It conflicts a bit with some existing prior commitments but I do hope we are able to work around them. It seems like they would. It's only two days--one I have to be in court and the other I have a very important doctor appointment. If they really want me, I'm sure we will be able to work around them. I really hope so!
Another good aspect about this temp agency is that there is a 90% chance that I will get hired by the company I will be working at. There is only a 10% chance that I will remain a temp. Either way, it's a foot in the door to get my ass down to the Appleton area. The wages is very nice, also. NEEDO EL JOBO!
Now I'm all nervous about interview questions and such. The hiring manager said that they would be giving me some tests on Fixed Assets, Balance Sheets, and other accounting jargon. I sure hope I can remember how to do those. It's been awhile since I did any accounting.
So heads up Tim and Jen....you might have an unexpected guest earlier than you thought you would!
