A Poem
TO JAIME IN COSTA RICA:
I was chewing on some bamboo
last tuesday of a fortnight ago
when in my skull a thought grew;
to round up all that crappy snow
put it in an ice cooler or two
and in the FedEx plane it would go.
The fluffy snow would stay quite frosty
until it landed on warm island sand;
oh, how my little plan is quite naughty
for I would address this lovely contraband
to Jaime who would get quite haughty
at the evil scheme I have just planned.

Julie,
10:25 PMyour poem was really cute and clever and i loved the rhyming (sp) scheme!
Glad you liked it, Melissa. I shall have to write one dedicated to you one of these days. :)
12:20 AMOh wow! A poem dedicated to me!? Yaaaay! I hope you're having a nice spring break, Julie! :)
6:43 PMBring it on Jules!!!! I might actually be happy to see some snow right about now. Oh wait no, that's a lie. The toxic fumes that comprise 97% of the San Jose air would take care of that snow in record time though.
4:29 PMAnd I hear that chewing on bamboo is bad for your teeth.
