I'm am extremely surprised that President Bush will be in Marquette next tuesday. He will be the first president to visit the UP since Taft in 1911. I'm disapointed that I can't go see him. I have to be to work at 2 p.m. and Bush will be here at 1:45 p.m. Oh well *sighs* I'm not voting for him anyway, but I still think it would be awesome to be able to say that I saw the President of the United States.
Last night Dusty, Misty, Trevor, Hoang, and I went out to quarter draft night at the Shammie. It was the first time I've been there since April. I must say that I had alot of fun and consumed more beer than I should have. But what's new with that? $.25 for a beer is damn cheap, so it should be consumed at a fast rate in order to make up for the cheap taste. I invited a bunch of people to go but no one did. Why does everyone say that this summer is so boring if whenever I invite people to do something, they stay at home? That ensures the boredom.
Tonight we are cooking a scrumpcious meal. (Well, Dusty is cooking, I will help get in the way) We are having pork chops, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and rice. YUUUMMMMYYYY!
Things at work with "phone voice" haven't gotten any worse or any better. In fact today I blew up at her. Well, blowing up for me isn't very much, but it was something. I snapped at her because she kept thinking that I wasn't waiting on customers in drive-thru. So she'd go and ask them how long they had been waiting, therefore giving me very confused customers. I swear, I'm going to throw her in the coin machine and push "ON".
Today was also the first day that my drawer has been off since I started. It was off a whole whopping $.10! OH NO! I think that's pretty damn good considering I've been running my own drawer for a month now. I have to work at a different branch tomorrow morning to help cover some shifts. This should be interesting!
It should be as interesting as this entry is non-interesting. I'm just a big blob of boringness lately. I post pictures of cats and talk about work. I'm going to have grey netted hair and wear elastic pants pretty soon.
