Using my sweet skills

My first day on the new job today was a success. What can I say? I love it. I love my job and I do believe that I have made the best choice of my life when I applied for this position. I have Dusty to thank for that--he's the one who convinced me to apply for it in the first place. Right before I forced him to cook me breakfast one morning he was surfing the classifieds when he found the job description. I hemmed and hawwed until he finally just yelled "APPLY FOR IT! IT WON'T HURT TO TAKE A CHANCE!" So I applied and look where I am a month later. I'm working my dream job, the one that I said I wanted to have since my first semester of college.

I lucked out and got the corner office with a window. Damn, I am one lucky bitch. Anyway, this window is the size of a patio door. It seems nice right? Well it is very nice to look out of, but it's damn COLD. I sat and froze at my desk today. I noticed a little heater underneath my desk right as I was leaving at the end of my day. That thing will be used for sure tomorrow. What the heck point is a huge ass window that is cold?

You know what else sucks? I finally have a chair that is comfortable, adjustable, and with arms. I have the WORST backache in the world from it. My back is so used to the shitty little things at my temp job that now that I have a good chair, it doesn't know what the hell to think. Go figure.

So anyway, I am in love with my new job. Can you tell? But you know what, I'm allowed to be. It's about damn time something went good for me. Things are goooooooooood. I can brag once in awhile. Cuz I deserve it! I finally get to use my sweet skills.
