Interview Tomorrow
I've done more driving this past week than I care to normally do and I'm about to hop back in my car this afternoon. I got a call from the temp agency this morning and I have an interview (more like a short initiation and "getting to know each other" meeting) tomorrow afternoon in the Appleton area. Which means if I get this job, I'll probably start work on monday.
It's for a pretty cool company (all you teachers out there will know it once I say the name!) in the accounts receivable department. I will work there until the end of the year, so it's a pretty long assignment. I'll find out tomorrow if there is a chance of getting hired on their staff as an employee or not. The wages aren't as good as I was hoping, but it's a start. Right now any cash is better than no cash.
So I must get in my car and drive to Marquette this afternoon. I have to get all of my clothes together and all of the things I will need temporarily (towels, pillows, that kind of stuff) and cram them into my car. I then will drive to Appleton tomorrow, have my interview, and drive back to Ironwood tomorrow night. I'll spend a day at home, and if I got the job, head back to Appleton sunday night.
Huge props and thanks to Tim and Jen for allowing me to crash at their place until I can get an apartment of my own. I don't know how I can ever thank you guys enough! Hopefully I'm not too annoying of a temporary roomate. I suppose if I get too bad, you can just throw me out to the curb. I can't promise I will cook anything good, but I'll try. I'm clean and quiet--just like a spider that hides in a corner and eats the flies. I won't make a peep, I promise.
As you can tell, I'm pretty excited. I can't stop talking. I feel bad for Dusty. I called him at 9 a.m. and before he could wake up, I was chattering nonstop. My bad. I get excited and just can't stop talking. I'll go away now.
