College Memories

My college career is going to be over in two weeks. It went by so fast that it's hard to believe it's already here. I will be the first person in both sides of my family to get a bachelor's degree. Over the course of the last five years, I have met wonderful friends and learned many things. Here are just a few memories that I can think of: (in other words, there will be more posts just like this!)

~My first day a good ol' GCC when I met Miss Katie Hagen herself. I believe that if I wouldn't have talked to her in english class with P O'Neil, I wouldn't have done the same things or met any of the people I know today.

~107 W College Apt #2...where do I even start? There was the kitchen (with that crappy sink might I add) where we would have our most important discussions. Crazy Ben next door. 2 jugs o'wine on girl's night. Frisky terrozing all of us. (in a good way of course) Smiley the ghost. Jaime running around on the roof of the garage on a drunken escapade. Paul's ducks. Katie waxing her skiis in the kitchen. Drunk Heidi. Dusty the 5th roomate. The shaky stairs. Tuesday fifth of rum nights.

~507 Front was the grossest, grimmiest, most disgusting house ever. Yet some of the best memories are stored there on that bar with Joel's fish tank in the middle. All of the drunken, blurred memories of course. That's where Paul and Leah met. We spent hours upon hours together there.

~The boy's apartment were Dusty and I first...errr...well you know. We had such a blast there getting the cops called on us and watching Paul and Trin puke over the railings after a 4 beer bong. Misty pretending to be a pirate. Dallas running around in his boxers. Joel's computer being ruined at least 2 times from beer being spilled on it.

~CAMO, the Bohnak juice, the liquid of the 40 oz. gods.

~The infamous party on 41 when I realized that I had met the most wonderful man I have ever known. (yeah, crazy haired boy, I'm talking about you)

~Quarter draft nights at the Shammie back in the day when we owned the place. We'd get there promptly when the beer started flowing and left well after bar close.

~Long Islands and nachos at Vango's.

~Tubing in Iron Mtn. with Misty. (remember Dallas's comment "smoking the reefer" where he managed to make everyone in the room shut up and stare at him?)

~Katie, Jaime, Paul, Joel, Trinity, Misty, Dallas, Linse, Ashley, and last but not least, Dusty. You know I love each and every one of you and always will. You have made the memories of college the best years of my life and for that, I thank you. I will treasure every moment that I spent with you, even if it was bent over the porcelain throne, because if it weren't for you guys, I wouldn't be the person that I am today. (though slightly nuts, I am somewhat sane)
