Spring Break
Spring break has been really nice. I haven't done a single thing school-related besides order my cap and gown. Tomorrow will be an entire different story; I'll probably spend the entire day at the library writing papers and homework.
I certainly needed this break. It's been hard getting back into the swing of things after being sick for such a long period of time. Doing regular things every day tires me out more than it used to. I suppose that's to be expected. Needless to say, I've enjoyed having a stress-free vacation.
Last sunday Dusty and I took a hike out at Black River Harbor and Rainbow Falls. It was a beautiful warm day and I had alot of fun. I even managed to NOT fall on my ass once! Here are some pictures that we took:

Here is Rainbow Falls, it was gorgeous.

Me on the bridge.

Dusty on the bridge.

Dusty hiding in the trees.

The frozen lake and harbor.
We also went down to Green Bay for a couple days to visit with Tim and Jen. That was nice. Tim and Dusty got all boozed up one night, that was pretty hilarious. We also met up with my friend Kari and our old party partner in crime Dallas. It made for a very interesting night to say the least.
We ate out alot so now I'm back to the grind with watching my food intake. I can tell the difference health-wise because I don't feel quite right. My stomach isn't thanking me much, either. But damn, it sure was worth it! I love me some food.
Yesterday Dusty and I got back to Marquette to tour some more houses. We found a great one in Ishpeming for a great price. I have to sit down and think of the pros and cons of living all the way in Ishpeming. It's MUCH cheaper (by at least $25,000!), it's an awesome house, and it's in a great location. But do I want to make that drive every single day? It's exactly 15.1 miles from the house to work and it takes 23 minutes. What do you think? We're going to take a ride by it again today. Dusty's parents are also going to be in Marquette for the homeshow so I better get dressed and showered soon.

Hey! 15 miles is nothing! I drive almost 20 miles one way everyday for student teaching and 25 miles one way in the summer. I think you should go for it! Especially since there's a $25,000 difference! That's a lot!
11:02 AMmichaela:)
Drive 15 minutes or save $25k? Julie, you should know the answer to this one. I drive 18 miles to my school I student teach at. That is nothing! When I went to UW-GB, I had to drive 31 miles from my apartment to campus everyday! Driving is an easy sacrifice to save yourself THAT much money, especially on a house. Save the money, drive the 15 miles.
11:03 AMYou guys are SO right. Thanks for the input! We have a second viewing tomorrow night.
