Denied

I got denied my claim for health care insurance from the state. DENIED. End of story. I can no longer go to the doctor, I have to start paying thousands upon thousands of dollars back to the hospital, I can no longer get prescriptions for the medicine I need to stay alive, and I inevitably will become sick again. Need I say anything more?

Oh, and does anyone have an extra $73,000 laying around? I could really use it right about now.

Julie,

That's just plain shitty. People like you who are going places and are productive can't get what they need...yet if you were living in Ironwood and had 5 kids by 6 different men...you'd get covered. Gotta hate the state.

Tim--Just a side comment here, how can one even possibly have 5 children by 6 different dads unless one child is actually a siamese twin with two different dads. Not like that's possible either. But yes, right now I hate my state and I'm very bitter.

Jaime--I actually called our congressman and am in the process of writing him a letter. The hospital has also hired a lawyer on my behalf. Let's hope something good comes of this!
