I got denied my claim for health care insurance from the state. DENIED. End of story. I can no longer go to the doctor, I have to start paying thousands upon thousands of dollars back to the hospital, I can no longer get prescriptions for the medicine I need to stay alive, and I inevitably will become sick again. Need I say anything more?
Oh, and does anyone have an extra $73,000 laying around? I could really use it right about now.

Julie,
11:01 AMThat's just plain shitty. People like you who are going places and are productive can't get what they need...yet if you were living in Ironwood and had 5 kids by 6 different men...you'd get covered. Gotta hate the state.

Tim--Just a side comment here, how can one even possibly have 5 children by 6 different dads unless one child is actually a siamese twin with two different dads. Not like that's possible either. But yes, right now I hate my state and I'm very bitter.
1:15 PMJaime--I actually called our congressman and am in the process of writing him a letter. The hospital has also hired a lawyer on my behalf. Let's hope something good comes of this!
