Accepted

I accepted the job. It's all mine. Now we have to move forward with the assload of paperwork, studying, and training sessions. Woo-hoo! Sounds like a grand time to me. :) As my boss said to me, "Welcome aboard!" Ahoy, Mates! He made me feel as thought I had just become crowned a pirate and we were off to sail the seven seas in search of buried treasure while looting other ships on the way. I sure hope I can dress up like Captain Jack Sparrow. In fact, I sure wish I'm on the same pirate ship as Sparrow.

It sure feels odd knowing that I have a job now. My career is off to a start. A strange start, but a start nevertheless. It's scary thinking about how I have to grow up and make a living out of planning out other people's futures. I know that I'm good at what I do, I'm just petrified that I will have to know what to do with my future. It's a bit unsettling to say the least.

Dusty and I are now in search of a nicer place to move into after the lease runs out here on May 31st. I'm glad that I don't have to worry about moving during exam week. We have practically an entire month to begin packing things up after school ends. We're looking for a bigger, nicer, cheaper (the further away from the college we go, the cheaper it beomes), better built place. We want to stay in Marquette, but I want a place that actually has room for a dining table and things don't fall out of the walls. Not having black mold on everything will be nice, too. We're hoping for a large duplex apartment of some sort or even possibly a small house.

*Now to tell my dad that I'm actually moving with with JUST my boyfriend...this could go sour*

I've composed a lovely poem for everyone. Enjoy:

If you are crass
please leave your ass
and your rotten poo
in an outdoor loo.

YES!!!!!! I'm rock!!!!! Better not quit my day job...
