Gyms Suck

We got a buttload of snow in the past two days and it's still falling. I don't need to start any type of exercise routine, I get enough fricking exercise shoveling it out of our driveway. I've been out there at least once a day shoveling and scraping off cars. It's been fun, but hell! At least it keeps me out of a gym.

I hate going to the gym to workout. I haven't been able to find a single routine that I enjoy or even SLIGHTLY like enough to force myself to go three times a week. Hell, I can't even get there once a month. I go into a gym and I feel like an alien implanted onto foreign soil. All these athletic people are milling about wearing the least amount of clothes possible in order to show off their bulging pecs, among other things...uggggggg. If I go to a gym, I don't feel like entering a competition for the body that makes someone say:

"DAMN baby, you've got a body like WHOA!"

Then there are the little skinny girls wearing not much more than three squares of fabric to cover the nipples and crotch region. They wander about and don't even exercise. It's like they go in there to parade around in their little anorexic bird looking bodies. So who is more annoying--the twits or the meatheads?

I'd have to say that the meathead-twit COUPLES are the worst. They look like a scary form of Barbie and Ken. They stare at my alien type body; how dare I enter their gym with that less-than-flat belly and those thighs? What in the world was I thinking?!?!

Ok, I think I'm done with that. Needless to say, I highly doubt I will ever frequent a gym in my life. I'm much rather run a mile in a freezing cold blizzard than go into a sweaty meathead twit infested gym.

Last night was Joel's last night here in the Marquette. I'm going to miss that kid so much. We went out to the bars during the worst blizzard so far this winter to celebrate his graduation and give a last HOORAH to the good times we've had together. I had alot of fun with Dusty, Joel, and Shorty. Fun times kids, fun times.

Tomorrow is my first appointment at the lipid clinic. I'm not quite sure if I'm spending the night or not yet. I was called on friday and told to bring all of my medications so it sounds like I may be, but I'm not sure yet. I'm hoping that it's just a consultation. Afterwards Dusty and I are heading off to the Ironwood for Christmas. I can't wait to get out of here for awhile....

I even know some "Jims" that suck! I don't even mind the people nearly as much as the hot humid stench of sweaty guys. Gyms are evil just like "spray tanning"...

Thanks Micheala! I hope you have a great Christmas, also. And I hope to see you sometime during our break! :)

Joe--I know lots of Jims that suck too. We should banish all Jims and Gyms.
