Lesson on Life from Julie
I saw my blood specialist yesterday. I was in his office for almost 2 hours enduring many tests, pokes, prods, pictures, recordings, all the fun crap that most people never have to experience. I walked out of his office with so many thoughts in my head that were scrambling about, none of them wanting to be realized by my brain as the possibility of my future. I do not care to say anymore except that I will be seeing yet another specialist, more tests, more trial diagnoses, and more questions than answers.
So I say this. I know you have all heard it before, but we only have one life. We may all live until we're 95 or we may not. The lesson is to live life for yourself. Do what you want to do when you want to. Don't listen to other people's criticism. Laugh like a lunatic. Run around your living room naked singing along to Aerosmith. Do whatever makes you feel happy, kids. Fall in love. Take down your guards. Drink hot chocolate with your friends while watching cartoons. Paint your toenails in different colors. LIVE LIFE!
And please, PLEASE, take care of ourselves. Take care of your bodies because they are the only ones you have.
In other news, Frisky and I are at my parent's house for the weekend while Dusty is out at camp. If I feel ambitious, I will be cleaning out some of my bedroom, but when I look at it I feel slightly sick to my stomach. I have alot of useless crap! Bonfire time!
Then I have to drive back sunday night because monday morning I get to have another cat scan. Whoopee. I hate those things.
