Hey kids, I'm back from my grueling ordeal at the hospital. How did you kids FIND me when I was there? I got lost going in AND coming back out. I felt like a senile 80 yr old walking in circles.

Well I got the news earlier than I thought I would. I was told that I would talk to my surgeon next monday about it, but I ran into him during my scan prep (while sipping on the lemassnade) and he met me after my scan to review the results.

Good news! For once! Wait..it's been so long since I've had good news that I don't even know how to tell people.

I don't need my pancreas to be hacked up or chopped out. In fact, it's healing quite nicely which is very rare. My surgeon was planning on another surgery by the end of the year. Maybe things are starting to look up?

Oh, and just for your knowledge, if you have an IV put in your arm that is squirting blood out everywhere, perhaps that means it's not in right. Poo...I have one bruised up arm now.

And guess what else?!?!

I HAD PIZZA TODAY!!! It was exquisite. Thin crust cheese pizza is actually good for a person as long as you have only one slice or two. Oopps, I had three.
