Finally Home

Hi Kids,

I'm finally home from my 2 week stay at the hospital. I don't feel like rehasing things that have been said over and over again--so if you have questions e-mail me or IM me. It's so nice to be home! Though I have 4-6 weeks left of recovery here. I'm functioning pretty slow these days, but each day gets a bit better.

*HINT HINT* Come and visit me!! It really makes me happy. *HINT HINT*

If anyone has any good suggestions for low cholesterol/low fat meals, foods, or cookbooks, please drop me a line. I've never eaten "healthy" in my life so this is all new to me.

Also, don't tell me how "awesome" the beer tastes, I may have to beat you with a meat mallet! For all of you who don't know, I'm never allowed an alcoholic beverage again. I'm bitter, dammit. So for the next couple weeks, be nice! *grins*

Another note-Dusty is the best boyfriend in the entire world. Who else would stay with me everyday, make me food, and be incredibly supportive and nice? He even can stand my stench, sweat, and groans of pain. That's impressive. So when you see him, give him a hug for being such a great guy. He deserves it more than anyone I know. And yes, I'm allowed to be all mushy in my own blog. If you don't like it, I'll beat you with a meat mallet, too.

MWAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm so EVIL! Hey, at least I updated in my pain killer-induced state!

The Blog Queen is home!!! YAY!!! So incredibly glad to hear your doing good...and screw the no drinking stuff! There is that really good non-alcoholic champagne/wine stuff...called sparkling grape juice...that stuff is the nectar of gods! Also you can get it at GFC pretty reasonably priced :) I used to get it when I was a good girlfriend and being romantic when I couldn't buy the real deal ;) But seriously, good stuff! Plus my friend Angie has low fat/cholesterol diet stuff because of her cancer...so I'll get that for you and help as much as I can...just let me know if you need anything! Take care!

I read that sparkling water with a splash of cranberry juice makes a great 'martini'.
